A few decades ago, seeing my friend “Petit Pascal” suffer on his comic boards, I decided never to look into this kind of work. Too hard, too long, too everything! But I failed. Because of necessity and at a time when it was still possible, I threw myself into comics, learning on the job, comic after comic, the rules and the complexity of this major art. It is certain, not all of it was good but I discovered a freedom of expression still possible then. I should have kept on going but the politics and ego of some publishers got the better of my desire to persevere in this area, what a shame...
