THE SAGA OF RYZOM

We were a team of 5 or 6 designers on this precursor online game which, I believe, was the first of its kind to be made in France. The challenge was significant and the boss, David C. held the project at arm's length with unwavering attention and a rare humanity. I don't know how many concepts came out of our heads, but it was impressive. The quality of the work of artists such as Chabuel I. and Chartier P-A. was a continuous wonder. We were only doing black and white concepts, faster, getting to the point. The percentage of what was used is really low but whatever, Rizom remains one of my best experiences on many levels…
