The making of the first part took more than 7 years, between the writing and my vacation at the end of production… In 7 years we have time to think and ask ourselves questions. This children's trilogy was one of the most unsettling, challenging and rewarding experiences of my career as a designer and art director. The challenges were beyond what I ever thought possible but in the end the result was there, of course thanks to the talent of Pierre Bufin and his team, the direction of Luc Besson, the story of Céline Garcia... and my stubbornness to make this movie come to life…
